Our Story
Heather and Safron are first of all best friends. Heather is from Peterborough Ontario, Safron was born in Canada, but as her father was in the military, her family lived both in Canada and throughout Europe during her childhood years. They moved to Peterborough in 1990, where she met Heather through the church they were both attending.
While Heather was learning how to harmonize singing on church music teams, Safron was part of a band over in England. They both had honed their skills separately, but when they started singing and playing together they realized they created a unique sound that was better as a duet than as individuals.
They did their first album in 2001, right after this life took some unexpected turns that would lay the ground work for many of the songs that have been written between then and now. They are currently in studio working on their next album, coming out soon. This will be a mix of both Christian and Inspirational material.
Having developed their skills over the years as songwriters they now find themselves in the unique position of not only continuing their musical involvement in churches but also writing customized songs with lyrics specific to an individuals life event whether it be a wedding, a funeral or a birthday celebration. It is the latter that has helped widen the scope of their sphere of influence. No matter the occasion where words fail, their music speaks.
